Join us for this enchanting class where you will learn techniques in the ancient, mystical art of shapeshifting and how it can be applied right here in modern life— helping us to become more of who we truly are, at will~ a skill greatly needed at this time.

It can also help us become more aware of the ways certain people, places and situations change us, all while drawing the wisdom and power of our Spirit Guides, Ancestors & Nature Beings into our day-to-day lives.

Shapeshifting is a very old magic, summed up as the ability to change one's shape into that of an animal, force of nature (like Wind or Waves), or plant in order to learn, become or gain access to that being's special powers, knowledge and medicine. Spoken about since time-out-of-mind across many indigenous traditions, the art of shapeshifting is deeply human, springing from our irrepressible curiosity about the world, our love of becoming (something / someone) and our imaginative capacity to change and be changed by the world in very real ways, both consciously and unconsciously.

My name is Amanda Verdery Young. I am an initiated Celtic Medicine Woman, Certified Shamanic Practitioner, Writer & Rites of Passage Guide. My devotion lay in guiding others into a wilder, more intimate love affair with their lives, soul’s calling(s), our beautiful Earth and with forces unseen. I am especially focused on helping (predominantly) women cross important thresholds into a greater expression of their gifts, medicine and soul-level desires.

I live in Amherst, MA with my dear husband and son and this will be my first in-person class taught since relocating here two and half years ago. I teach regularly online, in my membership program, the Wild Becoming Sanctuary. I'm excited to gather in real time with this beautiful community, for this important & joyful work!
